Received a warm welcome with freshly baked scones, a nice touch for the holiday season. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.- Enjoyed exploring the peaceful beach and forest walks in the area.

The TV in the apartment was quite small, making it difficult to read the guides and text from the seating area. There was some noticeable noise from the neighboring main house, particularly in the bedroom.

We loved the convenient location of this cozy lodge, just a short drive from the stunning North Norfolk coast. the kitchenette was well, equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily. the bathroom with its spacious walk, in shower and luxurious toiletries was a real treat. the hosts' thoughtful touch of homemade scones and refreshments upon arrival was a lovely gesture.

Avocet Lodge in Snettisham was the perfect self-catering retreat for us. The location was ideal, with excellent bus service, and we loved the nearby pubs, cafes, and antique shops. The beach, just a couple of miles away, offered a peaceful and pleasant experience, and there were also beautiful forest walks nearby. The owner's clear instructions on finding and accessing the property, along with their warm welcome of scones and tea, added a lovely personal touch to our stay. We were unable to control the central heating radiators, which made the sitting room a little cool in the evening. It would have been nice to have had the option to adjust the temperature to our preference.
